A difficult challenge for Albion this week as they make the journey up to Sale.
Sitting top of the League after Rams recent stutter, Sale have put together a run of 8 wins on the trot although they made a bit of a meal against their most recent opponents, Leeds (the weather may have had something to do with that).
In the reverse fixture back in October, Sale overturned an 11 point deficit in the last quarter to eke out a narrow win.
It is clear that Sale's main threat comes from the wings from which a third of their 67 tries have been scored. Furthermre, the hooker, Joshua Brown has chalked up 10. Not so easy to see where Albion could benefit, but perhaps opportunities could be available to a quick thinking scrum half.
Referee for the day is slated to be Daniel Rowlands who will bw familiar to Albion having officiated at four of Albions fixtures to date, unfortunately in all of the three away fixtures Mr Rowlands awarded the victory to the home side. In terms of doling out the cards, Sir is 'average' at around 3 every two games.
All in all a bit of a forlorn hope for Ryan's first game at the helm. Maybe a chance if Albion can assert some dominance in the scrum and prevent Sale sending the ball out wide but it could be a long day for little reward.
Weather forecast - Dry with the possibility of a little sunshine, but still on the chilly side - Gentle breeze with strong gusts.
Prediction - sadly a loss for Albion although a bonus point would be reasonable.
