Plymouth Albion have launched a new website which will be updated on a daily basis to keep everyone informed about what is happening at the Championship club.
With the development of social media sites, Plymouth Albion felt it was essential that the club had an easier user friendly website which would be a more effective way of communicating with supporters, fans and sponsors.
The site has been developed through an existing sponsor Acronyms and company Director Amos Swan said, “We have been a club sponsor for over 3 years and we were delighted to take over the development and hosting of the Plymouth Albion RFC website. After numerous discussions with Albion staff and fans, we decided to change the look and feel of the website, as well as incorporate some new ideas.
“We are very pleased with the outcome and will be updating the site and adding new features to better support the club, the fans and the players.”
Albion Chairman Dr Graham Stirling said, “We’re delighted to launch our new website, recognising the importance of communicating with supporters and the wider rugby community.
“We want to get club information into the public domain as soon as possible, and the early feedback we have had has been very positive.”
Albion supporter Tim Mitchell, an early user of the new website commented, “It’s far more modern, easily read and full of up to date information. It’s great to see Albion keeping supporters up to date with the latest news.”
