4 points - thank-you Coventry

COVENTRY

By IANBOL
January 17 2010

Before a disappointing crowd of 2,151, on an already wet pitch and, for part of the game, in a monsoon ALBION exacted revenge for their 26 - 10 defeat at Butts Park Arena last October with a hard earned 20 - 3 win against Coventry. New Page 1

Fantastic to have Ed back where he belongs, far too good a player to have him wasted playing lower league rugby for some second rate cornish outfit!! and big welcome to Sam Hockin, thought sam was great when playing here for Cornwall and think he could make the step up fairly easily. i note we seem to have picked up some support from Launceston this season so big welcome to you guys too...onwards and upwards

good round up on the game. my only concern was that last tackle by kenni the fact that he remained with the fallen player said lots. other referee's would have viewed it differently. good to see that we capitalised on the oppertunity, and made the game beyond safe.

come on albion you know it makes sense

came on your site to have some banter, but the sarcastic "thankyou for the 4 points" comment is out of order.

Dont think I'll bother in future.

Some would say it was polite to say thank you as it was points that we needed. Anyway THANK YOU(Sm154)manners cost nothing but go a long way(Sm152) so THANK YOU

Hope you keep the club afloat as it would be a shame to see you go under.

To Ianbol Thank you for the report.

Once again Thank You to all for such wonderful comments and bannter.

THANK YOU

Take Care SJ

I don't think the thank you was meant in a sarcastic way.
I think the relationship between Albion supporters and Cov's is above that.

Another well balanced report in my opionion ianbol, well done, and if I may say so, I too was thankfull for the points over a very competitve team yesterday, well done Cov and I look forward to seeing you all again next season.

Another question of taking one comment and ignoring the whole, so easy on a board such as this I fear ? I know I've been there.

Semper Sersum.

agree with above, cov played their hearts out,

IMHO we were lucky to come away so well, with excellent defending by our team. how some of the cov players didn't get tries was unbelievable, as the effort was superb, and how things could've changed to the other way kept me holding onto my apples until the final whistle

Yes - we needed the points (see thread on 'predictions'

I view Cov as one of the friendliest supporters home and away, I would thank them for keeping the team gong in times of hardship, there was a time I thought you may not make it to play us yesterday

so 'thank you coventry' from me for meeting such a spirited team and such wonderful supporters, for me the four points was a 'bonus'

Once again a superb report from ianbol. I have only one comment to make, Regarding Rauris effort he did make a glaring mistake by failing to see Wayne Sprangle inside him, but just a little comment, keep up the good work mate.

Balion, I wrote it as I saw it. I don't take notes.

Bit harsh to call it a glaring mistake - Wayne was quite a way off with the same defender to beat and Rauri was only just tagged into touch - fully justified to go for it in my book.

My body is a temple - I desecrate it every day(Sm63)
