Bolton Wanderers 32 year old striker Henrik Pedersen is rumoured to be on the move to the JJB this summer.

Paul Jewell was interested in bringing the former Danish international to the JJB during the January transfer window but the move failed, and now it is believed that Latics' football co-ordinator Bill Green is keeping close tabs on him again. 

Pedersen has been used in a variety of roles by Bolton but his preferred place is in attack, and if Jewell were to offer him that role it may persuade him to make the move. Whilst Bolton would be reluctant to let him go much may depend on which, if either, of the clubs are in Europe after the current campaign.

Pedersen signed for Bolton in July 2001 from Silkeburg, snubbing Latics in the process - his agent insisting that he wanted to play at a 'bigger' club.

 

During his spell at the Reebok Stadium he has made 79+39 league appearances and scored 21 league goals.
