Crewe Alexandra v Wigan Athletic preview

Henri Camara (thigh), Svetoslav Todorov, Lee McCulloch (knee), Josep Skoko, and Antonio Valencia (thigh) are all ruled out for the League Cup trip to Crewe Alexandra.

Emmerson Boyce is doubtful and David Cotterill is cup-tied.

For Alex, striker Lee Matthews (ankle) is out, but Ben Rix and Rodney Jack are in contention to play.
