Kobayashi on "kill" as he forgot it was the last lap


Mechanics wave to Kamui

After passing Alonso in the works Ferrari with a tidy move that had the Sauber pitwall rejoicing, Kamui set his sights on Buemi in the final corner of the Valencia sea side track.

 Blasting down the inside he crossed the line unaware he finished the race in a season high 7th place.  The Sauber mechanics were there to greet him on the pit straight.
