BMW Sauber to be renamed Sauber Motorsport, logo unveiled

The rather cumbersome BMW Sauber Ferrari title is expected to be dropped in favour of new team name, "Sauber Motorsport."

The "new" logo should actually be very familiar to Sauber fans, but it does sport red for the first time.  An homage to Sauber's returning engine supplier perhaps?

UPDATE: According to F1Fanatic, the team has said “Sauber Motorsport is the name of the company. The name of the team is unchanged: BMW Sauber F1 Team.”

Great to hear: They needed to get rid of the 'BMW' part of the name at the least. (Sm152)
