Sandstorm halts Bahrain testing

Today's testing at Sakhir in Bahrain was stopped earlier this morning due to a sandstorm.

The session was red-flagged shortly after 9:30am because the storm prevented the medical helicopter from taking off if it was required.

Felipe Massa set the quickest time before the stoppage, but he, Robert Kubica and Timo Glock had completed fewer than 60 laps between them.

Ferrari, BMW Sauber and Toyota have remained at the circuit thoughout the day to see whether conditions improve this afternoon.

Glock topped the times during yesterday's running after the first two hours had been abandoned because of fog.
