Anelka to Sign for the Toffee's?

Everton have made a 5 million pound bid for French striker Nicolas Anelka. This has been revealed by a source close to the club to the website www.nsno.co.uk . David Moyes has been looking for a forward having seen his side only score 14 league goals this season. Anelka who has played for several clubs in England such as Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City is undoubtedly a top class striker on his day but has had several attitude problems. However with Everton lying 15th in the table David Moyes has realised that a striker of Anelka's quality could not be over-looked. Anelka could be the ideal strike partner that Everton have been looking for to partner James Beattie and get the goals to push Everton up the table.
