Goncalves on Trial

It has been confirmed that the Portuguese under 21 International Jose Goncalves has joined Everton on trial for a few days from FC Thun. There had been several rumours about Goncalves joining the blues after he postponed a foot operation a few days ago.
Moyes said, 'He is in for a couple of days training.'
Goncalves was born in Portugal but is close to gaining a Swiss passport having lived in Switzerland for the last few years and has played for Basel and FC Thun. The 20 year old left back was very impressive in this seasons Champions League playing against teams such as Arsenal and Ajax.
