Everton are looking for a win and it could come against fellow strugglers, Birmingham. Steve Bruce has already been given the vote of confidence and if results don't go their way soon, he could be out of a job.

Forssell has yet to score this campaign and is looking to get one over Everton after he stated, recently in newspapers, that he wants to prove that he has no injuries and Everton where wrong to publically put him down. But the injuries are severe to the Brummies as they are without Heskey (doubtful), Dunn, Clemence, Izzet, Nafti, Gray and Melchiot.

Everton welcome back Cahill and Ferguson but Ferrari's knock against Boro, in the Carling Cup, could be ruled out, with Kilbane playing emergency left back once again.

Martyn, Turner, Wright, Hibbert, Weir, Yobo, Kroldrup, Kilbane, Arteta, Cahill, Davies, Neville, Osman, McFadden, Bent, Beattie, Ferguson, Van Der Meyde, Li Tie, Ferrari (doubtful).

Birmingham:
Taylor, Tebily, Upson, Cunningham, Taylor, Clapham, Jarosik, Kilkenny, Johnson, Pennant, Forssell, Pandiani, Painter, Vaesen, Gray (doubtful), Heskey (doubtful).
