Chairman Speaks Out

Bill Kenwright spoke out in a rare interview about the support for David Moyes ahead of the Chelsea game on Sunday. With Everton still hunting a goal, let alone a win, David Moyes has the total support and his job is not under any threat. Mr Moyes is more passionate about the club then some people give him credit for, especially after his outbursts against certain players not pulling their own.

for allowing this club to play in the Champions League and the UEFA Cup, he made a
great speech in front of the lads and the players really appreciated it. "It's not all doom and gloom. The chairman came to the team hotel before the Spurs game and he had a good long chat with the boys and gave the gaffer his full support. He said he will be at this club as long as David is, stuff like that. |
"It was brilliant and the lads really appreciated it and it was something I wasn't expecting but it was accepted well by the lads. It was admirable really, he said he was really scared doing it and I'm sure Mr Kenwright has done some scary things in his time."
