Ruddy Loan Deal To Walsall Extended

Promising young goalkeeper, John Ruddy, has extended his loan deal with Walsall for a further month. With Nigel Martyn covering first team action and Ian Turner/Richard Wright combination covering reserves its not been easy to establish the talented 'keeper in goal for Everton.
"There's no substitute for first team football and that's why I'm really enjoying it here," Ruddy said. "I would definitely like to stay at Walsall for another month because this experience is going to help me.
"Everton has been a brilliant experience for me and I've improved a great deal since I've been there. I've improved both as a goalkeeper and as a person since I went there. It's been really good working there and it has improved me no end."
