Campo Pens New Trotters Contract

Ivan Campo will remain a Bolton Wanderers player for the foreseeable future after a signing a new two year contract on the day that his old one had expired.. The 32-year old Spaniard has become a huge favourite at the Reebok Stadium since making the move from Real Madrid four years ago and the news that he is staying will be of huge delight to all concerned.

Since 2002 the veteran midfielder has made over a century of appearances for the Trotters and has helped the club reach the Carling Cup Final as well as gain a place in last season's UEFA Cup.

Last season was a bad season for the fans favourite as he suffered with a number of injury problems but this new contract enables him to make a fresh start in the coming campaign.
