Hamann Deal Back On

Dietmar Hamann could finally become a Bolton Wanderers player later on this week according to reports in this mornings German press. The Liverpool midfielder was due to complete a move to the Trotters over a fortnight ago and at one point it seemed as if he was going to turn his back on a move to the Reebok Stadium for the second time in twelve months.

One newspaper even reported that Bolton wanted to take legal action against the former German international for agreeing on a deal and then changing his mind but now it seems as if any doubts have been ironed out.

Hamann has proved to be a key player for the Reds since moving from Newcastle United in the summer of 1999 and was an integral part of the team that achieved the treble in 2001 and Champions League in 2005.

The ex-Bayern Munich regular is quoted as saying:

"I want to have another chance for a two or three-year contract and I also want to play every week."
