Sam Allardyce could be about to lodge a record breaking £7 million bid for Ghana's highly rated World Cup star Sulley Muntari.....
The 21-year old midfielder has impressed for the Africans this summer as they have made their way into the latter stages of the competition in Germany and this has apparently alerted the Wanderers who are looking for someone to fill the shoes of the departed Jay-Jay Okocha.
Muntari's club Udinese are beleived to want up to £10 million for the man who once rejected a lucrative move to Manchester United and Bolton are ready to test the water with a sizeable bid.
Meanwhile, hopes of bringing Fenerbache striker Nicolas Anelka to the Reebok Stadium are still very much ongoing and a loan move back to England could be forecast for the former Arsenal and Liverpool star.
However, Abdoulaye Meite's move from Olympique Marseille to the Trotters appears to have stalled due to a technicality but it is by no means finished as Allardyce wants the Ivory Coast star to replace long serving Bruno N'Gotty.
