Diouf Given More Training Time

El-Hadji Diouf has been given extra training sessions in an attempt to get him back to full fitness ahead of Bolton's remaining Premiership matches. Diouf was severely criticised by Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce last week after failing to recover from a long standing hernia problem and now the course of action taken is for the African to endure extra workouts at the training ground in Euxton.

The Senegal international has made only two appearances since the African Nations Cup earlier this year, with the last coming in the 1-0 defeat at Birmingham City at the start of April.

Allardyce has refused to pick the 25-year old ex-Liverpool player in any of his recent matchday squads until he improves his overall physical fitness and mental attitude.
