Bolton Wanderers wing back Ricardo Gardner has his sights firmly set on a second successive European campaign with the Wanderers.. The Jamaican international captain has played a key role for the team this season in all competitions and relative success in the UEFA Cup has helped to further raise the profile of the club both on a national and international scale.

Gardner hopes the club can use their games in hand to cement a top five finish at the end of the season and possibly sneak a place in the Champions League ahead of teams such as Arsenal, Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur.

"We want to get back into Europe and we will continue working hard until the end of the season," said Gardner to the official website

"We've got to take the positives from the Marseille match. Our aim is to finish in the top five, but we have to take advantage of our games in hand"

Bolton play fellow European rivals West Ham United at the Reebok Stadium tommorow afternoon.
