No Euro Tour For Campo

The Bolton News have revealed that Wanderers favourite Ivan Campo will not be able to play for the club in this season's UEFA Cup unless they make they latter stages of the competition at the start of next year.

Campo was not part of the Bolton squad of players registered for European competition and this is a move which has left many of the clubs supporters upset and bemused.

The experienced Spaniard made a welcome return to action on Sunday afternoon when scoring the all important equaliser in a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur.

Wanderers manager Sammy Lee decided to take a U-turn to restore the ex-Real Madrid man back to the first team line up after previously allowing him to talk to the Qatar Sport Club.

If Campo is to play any part in the UEFA Cup, he must now wait till February when the clubs are allowed to promote or demote players into their European squads.
