Andranik Teimourian has told journalists from the ISNA news agency that he will snub any future offer from Spanish side Osasuna in favour of staying and fighting for his place at Bolton Wanderers.

The 24-year old midfielder has started just one Wanderers game this season when playing the first half of the away defeat against Portsmouth last month but he is determined to stay at the Reebok Stadium.

Teimourian joined Bolton from Abu Moslem a year ago after a successful World Cup campaign with Iran and in his first year with the club he made a suitable impression.

"Osasuna club contacted me through one of its agents and inquired into my situation, I told them that I had a contract with Bolton for a year. They stated that I could begin my discussions for induction into the club if I wished." revealed Andranik 

“I know the Spanish league is one of the best in the world, and Osasuna was one of the best teams of the league in the past years. I have always wanted to one day play in Spain.”  

His countryman Jevad Nekounam plays for Osasuna and this could be a big incentive, but it is likely that Bolton manager Sammy Lee will want to keep Andranik to remain at the Reebok Stadium as the club looks to compete in four different competitions.
