Departing Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek has revealed that he may snub an offer from European giants Real Madrid in favour of staying in the English Premier League with Bolton Wanderers.

The veteran Polish shot stopper has been told he can leave Anfield on a Free Transfer by Reds manager Rafa Benitez and as expected there has been much interest in securing his signature.

Dudek recently confirmed that he had received an approach from Madrid to become the understudy to Iker Cassilas but now it seems he has offers to remain in this country too.

A Champions League winner with Liverpool two years ago, Dudek is well known to Bolton manager Sammy Lee after the pair worked together at the Merseyside club and it has been reported that a three year contract is on the table for the former Feyenoord custodian.

"I made a decision to leave England, but Bolton's offer has made me have a rethink," said Dudek to The Sun.

"I still haven't signed anything with Real Madrid and I have other offers to consider very carefully."

Bolton's interest in Dudek comes after they where told that Scott Carson would not be allowed to leave on loan by Liverpool for the forthcoming campaign.
