Delroy Facey's tour around the Football League has continued with the former Bolton Wanderers striker making Gillingham his seventh club since leaving the Reebok Stadium just over three years ago.

The 27-year old moves to the Kent club after just one year with Rotherham United where he had his most prolific spell to date netting ten goals from forty League One games.

Facey has also turned out for Huddersfield Town, Bradford City, Burnley, West Bromwich Albion, Hull City, Oldham Athletic and Tranmere Rovers since turning professional ten years ago.

Wanderers supporters will remember him arriving at the Reebok in 2002 having been dubbed as 'the next Michael Ricketts' and this was unfortunately a tag he took on.

He started just one game for Bolton in the Premiership and his only goal for the club came in a four goal thrashing of Birmingham City in February 2003.

At Gillingham, Facey will be joined by his ex-Wanderers team mate Nicky Southall, now in his third spell at the Priestfield Stadium.
