Bolton In Davis Link

Sammy Lee has been the Bolton Wanderers manager for less than a day and already there is talk about who he is to bring in on the playing side. Sky Sports report that Bolton could be one of a number of Premiership clubs interested in bringing Portsmouth midfielder Sean Davis to their club, although it has to be said that Pompey will look for a significant figure if they are to let the former Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder leave Fratton Park.

London-born Davis is also said to be on the wanted list of newly promoted Sunderland and Birmingham City as well as Middlesbrough but as usual at this time of year there is always going to be speculation.

Bolton could be on the lookout for a new midfielder in the summer after the news broke that Swiss international Blerim Dzemaili, signed on a pre-contract agreement, will be out for most of next season with knee ligament damage.
