Henrik Pedersen's career could be about to go full circle after the Bolton veteran confirmed that he is looking at a return to his native Denmark. The 31-year old will end his six year association with Wanderers this summer after a contract row with manager Sam Allardyce and he has already made plans over his next move.

His fiancee has started studying in Denmark and he has bought a property near to Silkeborg, the town where whom he spent a large proportion of his life prior to moving to England in the summer of 2001.

FC Midtjylland and Aalborg have already been touted as possible destinations for Pedersen but as yet the striker cum full back is waiting to see on what other options present themself.

"My fiancee will start studying in Denmark, and we have also bought a house in Silkeborg, Therefore, it's obvious Denmark has become attractive for many reasons." said Pedersen to BT

"The best option would be a club from Jylland, but clubs from Sjaelland might also be considered.Of course, the two clubs (AaB and FC Midtjylland) are very interesting since I could then live in Silkeborg, but I don't want to exclude anything."

Pedersen has been frozen out of first team action since criticising his manager Sam Allardyce publicly after a heavy defeat against local rivals Manchester United in March.
