Bolton Wanderers reserves could be crowned Champions of the FA Premier Reserve League later this week if they beat Newcastle United tonight and other results work in their favour. Wanderers are a point and a game in hand behind leaders Manchester United, whilst third placed Manchester City need four points from their next two matches to steal in at the death.

The last two seasons have been really disappointing for Jimmy Phillips team but this year he has been helped by the fact that he has been able to call upon a number of experienced names.

Since November time, the club has really hit top form losing just once in thirteen matches and the turnaround in fortunes means lifting some silverware would be the perfect reward.

Included in tonight's starting line up are Przemyslaw Kazimierzczak, Jarostaw Fojut and James Sinclair, all of whom have recently penned contracts to join the Bolton professional ranks next season.

Goalkeeper Kazimierzczak has been out on loan to League Two side Accrington Stanley during the early part of 2007 and he extends his stay at the Reebok Stadium for another year.

Countryman Fojut appeared on the Bolton first team bench throughout the early part of this season making sporadic appearances for the club in the cup competitions. His progress has been rewarded with a contract for the next two seasons.

Sinclair is yet to gain any senior experience but his successful conversion from striker to right wing back has prompted Sam Allardyce to offer him another twelve months with the Wanderers.

As previously reported 18-year old centre half Mark Ellis has also secured a professional contract with the club which will last until the end of the next season.

England youth internationals Robert Sissons and Temitope Obadeyi are also involved in tonight's reserve squad as is Zoltan Harsanyi who could play the last reserve league game of his loan spell from FC Senec.

Newcastle include experienced striker Shola Ameobi in their line up. The former England U21 international has missed the bulk of this season after suffering with a hip problem and now looks to build his fitness up before the start of the new campaign.

Also included for the visitors are Matty Pattison, David Edgar and Alan O'Brien, all of whom have had a brief flirtation with the United first eleven this year.
