Bolton reserves are looking for their fourth consecutive victory as they take on local rivals Manchester City at the Sport City arena this evening. City have proved to be a bit of a bogey team for the Wanderers second string in recent times having already defeated the club 4-1 in the Manchester Senior Cup recently but coach Jimmy Phillips knows his side have enough ability to defeat their title rivals.

In the reverse league fixture back in November goals from Ricardo Vaz-Te and Leslie Thompson gave the Wanderers a 2-1 win at the County Ground and a similar result tonight would be most welcome.

Kevin Nolan will start for the Wanderers second string after missing the last two first team matches through suspension and there will also be places for Stelios Giannakopoulos, Idan Tal, David Thompson and Cesar Martin.
