Bolton reserves hope to get back to winning ways at the County Ground tonight as they take on a Middlesbrough side currently topping the reseerve league table. Bolton where defeated 2-0 by Boro at the end of October but since then they have hit a decent run of form which has seen them go from the bottom of the table to fifth in the league, something which will please coach Jimmy Phillips as he has constantly seen his side battle at the wrong end of the table since taking over management of the second string from Neil McDonald a few seasons ago.

The Trotters will be without Lubomir Michalik, Johann Smith, Ricardo Vaz-Te and Przemyslaw Kazimierzczak for the visit of the Teesiders as all four are currently out on loan with Coca Cola league teams.

Polish defender Jarostaw Fojut is likely to play in the heart of the defence as he continues his rehabilitation from an injury picked up over the winter period.
