Bolton Announce South African Youth Link

Bolton Wanderers have strengthened their links in South Africa by agreeing to sponsor the Nelson Mandela Bay football Academy in Port Elizabeth. The Bolton News reports that the club are also hoping to forge links with a new Premier League club which is to be set up in the town this already adding to the links that Bolton have built up in Northern Ireland, China, Spain and Iceland.

Wanderers are currently represented by South African international Quinton Fortune and have previously had central defender and former Bafana Bafana captain Mark Fish on their books.

This new agreement is yet another indication of how the brand of Bolton Wanderers is growing in world football and such link ups will prove invaluable to the clubs long term future.
