Bulgarian teenager Nikolay Mihailov is set to start a training stint with Bolton Wanderers after his club Lefski Sofia granted their young goalkeeper permission to come to England.
Mihailov is the son of the former Reading and Bulgarian international keeper Bobby Mihailov and is very highly rated in his homeland after already appearing for his club in the Champions League.
It is not clear how long the 18-year old will be spending at the Reebok Stadium or if a longer term arrangement is being sorted out because Wanderers already have goalkeepers Jussi Jaaskelainen, Ian Walker, Ali Al-Habsi and youngsters Chris Howarth and Przemyslaw Kazimierzcak on their books.
