Bolton reserves are hoping for their first win in five games tonight as they take on local rivals Wigan Athletic at the Robin Park Arena. It is over six weeks ago since a Matthew Cassidy goal gave Wanderers their last win at this level against Manchester United in the Lancashire Cup so Jimmy Phillips hopes that his side can begin a turnaround to their season tonight.

Wigan's lie just a point ahead of Bolton at the bottom of the reserve league table and like Wanderers they are yet to pick up maximum points in the games played so far this season.

Bolton name skipper Kevin Nolan in their line up and there is also places for Idan Tal, Ricardo Vaz-Te and Nicky Hunt.
