Wanderers reserve team goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi has his sights firmly set on making a loan move to a Coca Cola Championship club... The 24-year old custodian joined Bolton in January but he has yet to make his first team debut due to the recent impressive form of long serving number one Jussi Jaaskelainen.

Even a place on the substitutes bench is a rare occurance for the Oman international as the Trotters prefer to use veteran Ian Walker as the back up to Jaaskelainen.

Bolton cheif Sam Allardyce was keen to offload one of his understudy goalkeepers last month and it seems as if Al-Habsi is the one willing to depart the Reebok Stadium on a temporary basis.

"I would like to play for one of the first division clubs in England as first goalkeeper instead of staying on the bench at Bolton," Al Habsi told the AFC's website.

Prior to his move to English football, Al-Habsi was a leading light in the Norwegian team Lyn Oslo with whom he had served for just over three seasons after moving from Oman.
