HUMMEL EXTEND KIT DEAL UNTIL 2008

Aston Villa have confirmed that they have extended their current kit deal with Danish sports manufacturers Hummel until 2008. The news has been welcomed by Aston Villa's commercial directors who learnt last week that the club's major sponsor, DWS Investments, will end their shirt sponsorship at the end of the current campaign.

Aston Villa's sales director Stuart Ryan said, "Our original deal with Hummel was over a two-year term with an option for a further two years.

"Both ourselves and Hummel were keen to take up that option, now extending the deal to 2008."
