Team News on the Crunch Champions League game this coming Tuesday with Roma. Read on for Team News. Phil Thompson says Michael Owen and Steven Gerrard will be fit to face Roma on Tuesday.

Thompson said Gerrard was rested for the game against Middlesbrough.

Didi Hamann is suspended for the Roma game.

Thompson said: "Steven Gerrard was very, very stiff after the Barcelona game, extremely stiff, and we didn't want to take any chances with him, particularly because Didi Hamann is suspended on Tuesday. "

''Steven Gerrard has been rested and will be better for it, and we'll have our full amount of players, barring Didi, in contention."
