Honours : Worthington Cup (Liverpool FC) , UEFA Cup (Liverpool FC), FA Cup (Liverpool FC) + regular in his Countrys National Team (Czech Republic).

Smicer was signed to fill the gap left by Steve McManaman who joined Real Madrid on a Free-transfer.

"The first priority is to try to win a trophy," he said."At the same time we also want to compete for one of the first three places in the league.

That is the position we want to reach as soon as possible. Myself and Patrik have played together for the national team, so we already know each other well. I'm looking forward to playing with him at club level."

Its still under jury weather or not Smicer has filled the gap well. Hes scored goals created alot aswell but at times lacked the strength thats needed in the Premiership , time will only tell if Vladimir is the man for that role.
