Brett Emerton has been liked with both Leeds United and Liverpool in the past several months and all the speculation is set to end - Feyenoord are set to play him in there Champions League Qualifier.

Brett , only 23 has been inlcuded in the dutch side for the Champions League Qualifier against Fenerbahce.

If Emerton does play it will make alot of the interest other clubs have in him drop as then he could not play in any other European Competition for any other club.

"As far as I'm aware Brett will be playing on Tuesday, meaning he'll be cup-tied for European competitions for the rest of the season," said Emerton's agent, Simon Konstantinidis.

"Unfortunately that's out of his hands and he is contracted to Feyenoord so must abide by their wishes.

"It is Brett's dream to play in England though, so hopefully if he continues to play well then clubs will hopefully remain interested in him.

"There have been no new talks since the initial offer to my knowledge. I'm aware of Leeds' interest but I believe Feyenoord's asking price is still too high for the English clubs."
