Roy Carroll looks likely to join the Hammers within the next week. The Manchester United keeper who had rejected a new deal with the reds has declared his desire to become a Hammer. His agent told Sky Sports earlier today that despite interest elsewhere, Carroll was keen to join the irons in a deal which is likely to net him £20,000 per week.

Carroll moved to Old Trafford in July 2001 from Wigan and went on to make 70 appearances for the Old Trafford club.
