Teddy says yes to Pardew

He may well be 40 but he never was known for sheer pace just a quick football brain that appears to still be functionally sufficiently enough to earn him a new one year deal to play for his boyhood heroes. Sheringham who has played for Millwall, Nottingam Forest, Sp**s, M*n Utd and Pourtsmouth had recently been linked to a move down under but in the end decided his expected last season as a player would be at West Ham.

Speaking on whufc.co.uk this morning, Sheringham said:

"It’s fantastic to have signed for another season. I’m looking forward to playing in the top flight with West Ham.

"It’s a great opportunity for me to be playing Premiership football again; I don’t know what role I’ll be playing yet but we’ll just have to see how things progress."

So Sheringham joins Christian Dailly, will Tommy Repka be next?
