There is still little to choose between the 12 SPL sides after four rounds of fixtures, with draws being the order of the day.

The weekend started with a comfortable win for Celtic away at Inverness (4-2), with young Tony Watt scoring two more goals adding to the two he scored atFirParklast season.

This is a young man to watch out for this season, as a BBC pundit said at the weekend he could have a big part to play this season. He may not feature in too many European games but could play a major role in the SPL.

Terry Butcher’s side need to watch they don’t slip much further they have only take three draws and have been struggling to stop other teams scoring. Big Terry will no doubt be working to fix this ahead of this week’s trip to Motherwell.

The surprise result of Saturday was the defeat of Dundee Utd atRugbyPark, with the Arabs looking the best bet to challenge Celtic on the short term. They were beaten 3-1 and with the possibility of losing Johnny Russell before the end of the week, they could fall further.

RossCountyregistered their first win againstDundeeon Saturday, with a 1-0 win. It looks as though they will be hard to beat, but they aren’t going to score many goals. They have scored two in four games, with Richie Brittain getting both from set pieces, one a direct free kick and the other a penalty.

Dundeemeanwhile look like they are a First Division side in the SPL and look to have a long hard season ahead of them!!

The other team on only one point along with theDeesis another surprise, Saint Johnstone. Who have only picked up their one point with a draw atFirPark, and rather than build on last season’s top six finish appear to be struggling without the strike force of Sandaza and Sheridan.

The two Sunday games ended in draws which didn’t really help the League positions ofAberdeen, Hearts, St. Mirren or Motherwell.
