Livingston to seal promotion this weekend.

Livingston can clinch promotion from the second division tomorrow if results go their way. The first team in the UK to do so this season.

The West Lothian side travel to Stenhousemuir tomorrow knowing if they win and Brechin lose at home to East Fife they will return to the First Division only two years after being relegated when they went into administration.

This will be the second promotion in a row since that automatic relegation, a punishment that seemed harsh at the time.

They would also seal promotion as Champions with five games to go, proving they have been the strongest team in the Second Division by a mile.

There is also news today that they could be considering a move from their home at Almondvale Stadium in the centre of Livingston. The move to a stadium 1 mile from the current ground looks to be dependant on West Lothian Council, finding a supermarket buyer for the current site.

This move will please many football fans who find the drive into the busy town centre with the access and egress not being too brilliant.

It sounds like interesting times at Livingston again, and this time they appear to have done things the right way without buy their way through the Leagues.
