More games have been called off across Scotland following the heavy snow this week.
The SPL had already lost two games yesterday when the police called off the games at Celtic Park and Tanandice, today the Hamilton v Hibs game was called off.
This time it wasn't the surrounding area that was the problem but the pitch itself, which is still frozen after Accies struggled to get fuel delivered for their under soil heating.
After last week's call offs it makes a mockery of the "adequate pitch protection" requirement for SPL clubs that we actually lose a game to a poor pitch.
Given the problems other clubs have and Accies record last season should they be punished by the SPL??
The SFL has also lost more games with even more inspections planned, the full details are here;
IRN-BRU First Division
Cowdenbeath v Falkirk - Postponed
Dunfermline Athletic v Queen of the South - Pitch Inspection 9.00 a.m. Saturday. Requested by Queen of the South.
Morton v Dundee - Pitch Inspection 8.30 a.m. Saturday
Partick Thistle v Ross County - Game goes ahead.
Stirling Albion v Raith Rovers - Postponed
