We at this website decided, whilst bored and sitting in front of a computer, to rate the players, to judge them, to give them marks for their performances, or lack of... to let YOU know how THEY played... OAKESY - Should he have beaten by one, let alone two, strikes from distance? Two stunning second half saves though, so i guess they cancel out? yes?

PEADY - erm... quiet?

WRIGHTY - not a left back, not a full back, can't defend... can any wingers? no, so play him on the wing! Smith could have filled in at full back for all the good he did on the wing

ROPES - solid, good to have him back, but cut your hair mate

MILLS - Prefer him to Westwood, looked good, assured on the ball, big, quick, strong, he obviously wants a contract

DEVLIN - didn't do much, not match fit maybe, but that's 'cos he's always unavailable. can't comment on the sending off until I've seen it again but... looked harsh?

SMITH - not a winger, average performance, toiled away.

OSBORN - not at his best, stupid booking for tripping up a Scunny player, replaced by Ishy.

DEANO - Like a returning hero, battled away, heart on his sleeve, man of the match, stunning goal, crowd sang his name

BARROWMAN - little support, looked up for it, chased, held the ball up, well taken goal... yet still got stick from the crowd

TIMM - lasted 20 mins, maybe cost us a goal (couldn't he have cleared it before he fell to the ground?!)

SUBS

GILMARTIN - not used

BRADLEY - not used

NICHOLLS - not on long, though he could have won it with a calmer finish, willing chaser

ISHY - for Osborn, pace late on, didn't have enough time though

JAMES - replaced Timm before making way for Nicholls. Not his best performance but his pace is always dangerous.
