Three of the players linked to us in the press look like they'll need a fee to take them to Bescot. Given that the Saddlers have reported Financial Losses in recent years, we can't expect the Board to start paying money...

All three players have been linked with the Club, and all three of the will cost us money if they join. . According to this evenings Express and Star, Lincoln City would seek a fee of around £25,000 for midfielder Dean Keates, while it is a public knowledge that Loan Star Erik Skora can leave Preston for £50,000. 

Reports today linked the Saddlers with a £50.000 bid for Boston United's Julian Joachim.

Paul Merson told WM that it was highly unlikely that he'd get any of the Transfer Money recouped to reinvest in new players. This casts a shadow of hopes that any (if not all three) of these three rumoured targets will be making a permanent switch to Bescot.
