The Player Form guide from Barnsley courtesy of our man at Oakwell. How did the new boys do? How did the returning duo get on?

^{Oakes  (Goalkeeper) -} OOOOO ^{Nice to see him back in action, but let himself down the  goal. Has to do better to win his place off Murphy.} 

^{Gerrard (Central Defence) OOOOO  Good in the air  and rarely beaten by the opposing forwards. The good form continues.} 

^{Pead (Full Back) OOOOO   Looked uncomfortable for first hour but got into the game more, distribution was poor at times.}

^{Fox  (Full Back) OOOOO It was a steady return to action for Foxy gwho ave a good account of himself in a more familiar role. Nice to see him back in the side.}

^{Roper (Central Defence) OOOOO  A pleasing performance from Ropes with some good (and rash)  challenges.}

^{Osborn  (Midfield )OOOOO  A steady but busy first period but struggled in the 2nd when the pace of the game picked up and Barnsley piled on the pressure.}

^{Leary -  (Midfield) OOOOO A great combatative start but like the rest of the midfield, struggled in the 2nd.} 

^{Bennett -  (Midfield) OOOOO Good performance for a center back on the wing. Didn't let speculation get in his head. A commited performance from Jules.}

^{Wright - (Midfield) OOOOO Some nice play, and a good assist but some poor touches in good areas really let him down. His pace helped us look dangerous on the break.}

^{Timm - (Forward )OOOOO Good touch and likes to bring others into play, curly hair as well. An encouraging debut but did look rusty towards the end of the game.}

^{James - 1} !^{(Forward) OOOOO Good goal, was keen to make darting runs which led to handful of offside calls. Should add more quality to the squad than Daryl Taylor.}

^{Nicholls - (Forward) OOOOO  An energetic performance from our young sub. Harried and hassled Barnsley until the end.}
