Radio WM is reporting that Walsall boss Paul Merson expects Julian Bennett and Matt Fryatt to leave the club before the end of the month.

Merse has also told the media he is expecting new faces in and that youngsters Kris Taylor, Jon Harkness, Joe Broad and Taiwo Atieno are all surplus to requirement. 

News of Bennett leaving has grown throughout the week, but Fryatt leaving could now be the shock of the Window. 

The departure of Jorge Leitao led us all to believe that Fryatt would now be staying until the summer, but this report from WM may now start to cause concern. 

Should Fryatt leave then we're left with a young, inexperienced strike force who are unproven at this level.

This looks like being a busy Window for the Saddlers.
