Walsall born Full Back Rachel Unitt has gone to play in the USA. She's spending the summer with the New Jersey Wildcats.

^{The Wildcats are one of the worlds top teams, and it's great to see someone from Walsall reach the top of their profession.} 

^{Unitt isn't the first English player to head Stateside. England Star Kelly Smith spent quite some time in the USA and captained the Wildcats before coming back to England last season. The wildcats have also signed Rachel Yankey (The one you see modeling the England Kits on the advertisements)}

^{Unitt usually plays for Everton, and should return home in time for the start of the English season. There is no doubting that going to play in the USA is a massive achievement.}

^{Unitt was interviewed on the Bescot pitch towards the end of last season, she then went on to score twice in a 4-1 victory over the Czech Republic at the Bescot Stadium.  Link : www.njwildcats.com}
