Reports from Yorkshire suggest that Leeds United won't play ball with the Saddlers over Julian Joachim. An unamed club has made an offer. It seems that the Saddlers have approached Leeds with a wage share agreement (just like we had with Merson and Pompey).

Leeds are adamant that there'll be no easy pickings from their squad, which is ironic given the amount of money they've been happy to throw around like confetti over the last couple of seasons.

This could prove to be ultimate The obstacle for the Saddlers. It might take a transfer fee or a substantial wage drop to get him to Bescot. The only hope we have is that Kevin Blackwell wants a new Strike force that includes Rob Hulse. A player who would command good wages and a decent fee. Leeds are also being linked with Stefan Moore and Marlon King. Neither of whom would come on the cheap.

So maybe a deal still isn't out of the question. Leeds will want to move these fringe players on.

The only danger is that they'll move on to other Clubs.
