Merson pipped to signing

Coventry City have pipped the Saddlers to a pre-deadline day signing. Will Merse get anyone in before Thursday? Albion wide man Lloyd Dyer has signed for Coventry City on loan. Micky Adams has secured his services until the end of the season.

It did seem like the only competition we had came from Dyer's former boss Gary Megson, who is now in charge at Notts Forest.

Merse has 24 hours left to bring in some reinforcements.
