MK Dons (Who)?

Milton Keynes Dons (Sic) come to Fortress Bescot (snort!) on Saturday. Who are they? What do they represent? None of us really care. The last ever tongue lashing from yours truly. Milton Keynes is not a football town. It is a purpose built concrete experiment that has gone horribly wrong.

It is a slum town littered with East End squalor. The real moneyed people from London escaped the Capital smog by moving to upmarket Essex whilst the “problem families” searched for a better lifestyle by migrating to Milton Keynes taking all their low morals and filthy habits with them. As a result the Town planners created the largest slum in England.

Unfortunately this type of social experiment is not confined to Buckinghamshire. The flea bitten and unwashed community of Telford has evolved through the relocation of the socially unacceptable from Wolverhampton to Shropshire. Sadly Bilston still remains.

As we now know, you can take people out of the slums but you can’t take the slums out of the people. Paul Weller was absolutely right when he sang of Milton Keynes “we used to chase dreams now we chase the dragon”. Everything that is wrong with this country can be found in the land of the concrete cows. What’s that all about eh?

Nothing of interest has ever come out of Milton Keynes (nor Telford come to think of it). Certainly not the MK Dons who charge fans a fortune (typical Cockney spivs) to watch them “attempt” to play football at the ridiculous Hockey Stadium.

This manufactured football club without any sense of history; tradition or origin is detested the length and breadth of this fair land. Even the poorly educated Ford Cortina driving local population have the good sense to turn their noses up at their new “football team”.

With only insignificant Luton Town nearby the average turnout of 4500 for a match at the hockey stadium is pathetic to say the least.

Let us all hope that justice is done and they are relegated this season with a further relegation the season after. Let this cycle continue until they no longer soil the inside pages of our Sunday papers.

Sitting in the relegation zone (Ha!) this team has no players worthy of note other than Izale Mcleod. However, the only reason for mentioning this player is to draw fans attention to his unprofessional behaviour. As we had the misfortune to witness at Pride Park a few seasons ago this player is so poor of skill that he resorts to blatant cheating in order to gain advantage. Watch out for incredible dives and play acting.

They also have Clive Platt but I don’t think we will lose any sleep over that.

This is without doubt a home banker and I expect Merson’s boys to rattle up a cricket score.

Prediction: Saddlers 6 MK Dons 0
