^{Ian Roper. He ain't graceful on the ball, and he isn't pretty to watch, but what a player. Ropes is a true Walsall legend. A regular in our First XI for nearly 7 years}

^{Julian Bennett. Can also play at Left Back, but is equally at home in the middle. Reserve team regular with just one first team apearance to his name.}

^{Kofi Dakinah. The new man from Denmark is our only new defensive signing. You didn't choose him to play at Right Back. Would you prefer him in the middle.}
