^{Darren Bazeley - Merse persuaded him to sign for us instead of the Auckland Kingz. He has been our regular right back for the last two seasons, but he did have a dodgy period last season where he lost his spot to Chris Baird. The most experienced choice.}

 

^{Mark Wright - Can play a number of roles, has Right Back experience in the Reserves and First Team. Better coming forward than going back. Lots of pace and energy.} 

 

 

^{Ryan Willetts - Never started a Competitive Fixture. A First Year Professional who isn't very attack minded, but is a solid defensive player.} 

^{Kofi Dakinah - The new boy from Denmark has been a fringe player this pre-season. Looks good on the ball. Will take time to settle in.}
